Description:

On the Mexican Day of the Dead, a single churro rose from the earth, its cinnamon sugar coating glistening eerily under the moonlight. As it stretched and twisted, growing long and snake-like, it slithered through the ofrendas, knocking over candles and devouring marigolds, its hunger insatiable. By dawn, the churro had wrapped itself around an entire graveyard, pulling the dead from their rest to join its sugary, twisted parade.
