REMEMBER VIENNETTA?
Viennetta was the dessert that made a Tuesday feel like an occasion. Through the '80s and '90s it showed up as a frozen showpiece — wafer-thin ribbons of vanilla ice cream folded through crackly chocolate, sliced and served like it belonged under a glass dome. For a lot of us it was strictly "company's coming" food, the fancy thing in the freezer you weren't allowed to touch. Then it quietly disappeared from American freezers. We rebuilt those exact layers — vanilla ice cream cashew butter, chocolate shavings, and a dusting of cocoa — no freezer required.
